Force Index क्या है?

Dr. Alexander Elder ने अपनी book "Trading for a Living" में Force Index को introduce किया। Formula: Force Index (1-period) = (Current Close - Previous Close) × Volume। यह absolute change times volume है - बड़े price moves with high volume = strong force। Smoothed Force Index = EMA of raw values (typically 13 periods)। Elder recommend करते हैं 2-period for short-term signals, 13-period for intermediate trend analysis।

Force Index Trading Signals

Interpretations: (1) Positive Force Index = buying pressure dominant। (2) Negative = selling pressure। (3) Zero line cross = trend change signal। (4) Divergences: price new high, Force Index not = weakening। (5) Extreme readings = exhaustion। (6) Short-term Force Index (2-period) for entries/exits। (7) Long-term Force Index (13-period) for trend confirmation। Elder's "Triple Screen" system में Force Index central role play करता है। Combines momentum और volume।
